Scouting Report

Kendall Lamm signed with the Browns a year ago after starting along the Houston Texans offensive line before that. He had an opportunity to win the job last season, and even saw action in a relief role for the Browns a year ago, now his roster spot is as fluid as water.

More from With the First Pick

After signing Jack Conklin to big money in free agency and landing Alabama right tackle Jedrick Wills with the tenth pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, Lamm, already a backup beforehand, is firmly on the chopping block.

Veteran Chris Hubbard took a paycut to presumably compete with Drew Forbes and Will Teller at right guard, as well as serve as the swing tackle for the brown and orange. The Browns also landed a tantalizing but raw undrafted free agent in Alex Taylor as well, and given his ceiling, Berry may opt to give a roster spot to the younger player.

He has been a revolving door for two seperate teams over the past two seasons, and as a result Kendall Lamm may be on the move once again. A year ago the Browns had no depth along their offensive line, and now this year they have an abundance of reserve players in that same room.

Cuts are going to have to be made in that group, and Lamm may be near the top of the list.
