WR Jalen Reagor, Philadelphia Eagles

Taken over the likes of Clemson’s Tee Higgins, LSU’s Justin Jefferson, Arizona State’s Brandon Aiyuk, and Baylor’s Denzel Mims, the Philadelphia Eagles came under fire for their selection of TCU’s Jalen Reagor. The conversation surrounding this pick after the 2020 season, however, may take a different tone than the current critical one.

The Horned Frog speedster landed in the back end of the first round, with the 21st pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, looking to prove all of his naysayers wrong. Even talking head Skip Bayless got in on the action of taking a shot at Reagor and the Eagles, and a shot that Reagor did not take lightly.

However, despite this heat, Reagor has a chance to be an immediate star in this league and with the Eagles in 2020. He will get an extraordinary amount of manufactured touches from Carson Wentz on quick hitters and screen passes, allowing for him to work where he does best: in space.

The Eagles have struggled over the past two seasons, and largely due to the lack of production and consistency at the wide receiver position. Adding the explosive Reagor who can win underneath and as a vertical threat will work wonders for the offense if Philadelphia.
