This 2021 NFL Draft features a new frontrunner to land the prized jewel

We are now two weeks into the 2020 season, and it was an ugly one as numerous star players went down including Saquon Barkley, Christian McCaffrey, Nick Bosa, Solomon Thomas, Drew Lock, and more. As Week 3 approaches, we wish for better health across the board as an unusual season continues to get weirder and more complicated.

Through these first two weeks, we have numerous teams sitting with an 0-2 record and in play for the first overall pick of the 2021 NFL Draft. With the right to pick first comes the a bountiful inheritance in the form of Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence. With the Tank for Trevor campaign heating up through two weeks, it appears we have a front runner in the form of the Adam Gase led New York Jets.

As Monday Night Football is set to begin, what better way to pregame than with a 2021 NFL Mock Draft? Will the Jets do the right thing and select perhaps the best quarterback since Andrew Luck in Lawrence, or will Joe Douglas and company stick it out with Sam Darnold for another year as they hope he can develop into the player they hope he can be?

The draft order of this 2021 NFL Mock Draft has been determined based off of NFL Spin Zone’s latest power rankings by Randy Gurzi. A few adjustments were made at the back end of the draft as two AFC teams cannot pick 31st and 32nd as the rankings fall.
