Where do the Cowboys improve in this 2021 NFL Mock Draft?
The Dallas Cowboys happen to be one of the oddest teams in the NFL at this current moment as they sit with a 1-2 record on the year. While they are an Atlanta Falcons’ classic collapse away from 0-3, they are also a questionable offensive pass interference call away from 2-1; the forecast would look much clearer if that were the case for them.
Now, they will host the 2-1 Cleveland Browns this Sunday in hopes of getting back to .500 on the year and scrape back into NFC East contention. Good news for the Cowboys on that front: the other three teams in the NFC East are struggling to get a win just as bad as they are. Given the offensive firepower of the Cowboys, it certainly seems likely they will run the division and take the crown by season’s end.
However, there have been some glaring holes exposed in Dallas through the first three weeks of the season. Some have been caused by uncontrollable injuries, but some of these voids are a sign of lack of depth and talent at certain positions. You know what that means!
There is no better cure for a Sunday hangover from a loss than a mock draft. Here we take a look at the current talent at the college level, the holes currently on the Cowboys’ roster, and add a haul of talent to the depth chart in Dallas. Enjoy!
Note: The Cowboys do not have a fifth (traded to Philadelphia to move up for center Tyler Biadasz) or sixth round (traded to New England in exchange for Michael Bennett) selection
