There are some big 2021 NFL Draft prospects in Boston College vs North Carolina
The return of college football has produced some interesting results. There have been some games that were postponed. For the most part, football has gone on without massive outbreaks all over the country. Many were skeptical about playing football during the COVID-19 pandemic. Three Power-5 conferences are already playing football, with the BIG-10 and PAC-12 scheduled to come back very soon. This week in the ACC, the North Carolina Tar Heels are traveling up North to play the Boston College Eagles.
Offensively, North Carolina will have eyes on them for the next two seasons. Quarterback Sam Howell is a high level prospect and has a good chance to be the first quarterback selected in the 2022 NFL draft. Joining him are wide receivers Dyami Brown and Dazz Newsome, one of the most electrifying receiving duos in college football. Running back, Michael Carter, often forgotten because of the dynamic passing attack, is coming off of a season with over 1,100 yards from scrimmage.
Flipping over to the other side, when Boston College is on offense, there are a lot of draft prospects on the field. Quarterback Phil Jurkovec, a Notre Dame transfer, is playing behind one of the best offensive lines in the ACC. Tyler Vrabel, Ben Petrula, Alec Lindstrom, and Zion Johnson are all potential NFL draft picks in 2021. The Eagles are 2-0 with Jurkovec and this offensive line.
Both teams are undefeated and North Carolina is favored by 14.5. There are plenty of NFL prospects to watch in this game. Truthfully, the player that everyone is most excited to see is Sam Howell, who is not even draft eligible. However, there are still a plethora of exciting and interesting prospects.
