Time to wrap up Week 5 with a 2021 NFL Mock Draft!
This NFL season has truly been one for the books. From the meltdown at the Tennessee Titans’ facility to the fact that the Cleveland Browns currently sit with a 4-1 record on the season, the 2020 season has followed the suit of the entire year to this point, making for an interesting 2021 NFL Mock Draft. Just five weeks into the season, we have seen two teams already press the reset button, firing their head coaches before the midway point.
First it was the Houston Texans who burned their bridge with former head coach and general manager Bill O’Brien; too bad they did not make this decision before he traded away all of their future assets and strapped them with salary cap debt. Then just yesterday after a loss to the Carolina Panthers, the Atlanta Falcons opted to fire Dan Quinn less than four years removed from their NFC Championship title.
By the season’s end we are sure to see a handful of more firings as both of the New York coaches have yet to get a win on the season, Anthony Lynn is on shaky ground with the Los Angeles Chargers, and Zac Taylor has yet to prove he is worth investing more time into with the Cincinnati Bengals. Just a little over a quarter of the way through the season, it will be interesting to see how the year plays out with still over half of the games left to go.
At this point in the season, however, the draft order is starting to sort itself out, and the cream of the crop are starting to rise. How would the 2021 NFL Draft shake out if it were to happen today? Here is a three-round 2021 NFL Mock Draft after a wild weekend of action at both the college and NFL level.
