November 15th vs Justin Herbert’s Chargers

Had the bye week not been moved up due to COVID-19 rescheduling, this game might have been Ryan Fitzpatrick going up against Justin Herbert. Now, we get treated to fifth overall pick Tua Tagovailoa and sixth overall pick Justin Herbert, who may be the front runner for Offensive Rookie of the Year, facing off for the first time.

They never played in college, and likely never played in high school as they lived in different states (although Tagovailoa attended St. Louis high school in Hawaii, who frequently traveled to play games on the West coast of the United States). These two will be linked for the rest of their careers, and it all starts in a little less than a month.

Herbert has been playing well and might still be looking for his first win. Thankfully, Tua will be slightly more acclimated to the NFL by his third start. As Herbert now has four starts under his belt with the Chargers after replacing veteran Tyrod Taylor after his freak accident.

In what should be a thrilling shootout, Herbert has shown the ability to push the ball deep down the field and into tight windows already. Will Tua be ready to match his juice in what will be his third start of his career?
