Tyler Vrabel, OT, Boston College

Boston College has one of the best offensive lines in the ACC. The best player on that line is Tyler Vrabel, son of Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel. After an impressive redshirt sophomore year, he has had a solid season thus far. In 2020, he is looking to improve his draft stock and sneak into the top 100.

Vrabel has an opportunity to put some very nice tape on display against a reeling Syracuse team that lost Alton Robinson, their best pass rusher, to the NFL. This Syracuse team is reeling, and the physicality of the Eagles, starting with Vrabel, should push them around all day long.

As of now, Vrabel is looking like a late day two pick, but can easily climb up draft boards if he continues to play well. The 2021 offensive tackle class is not as stacked at the top as the 2020 class was. After Oregon’s Penei Sewell, the rest of the group finds themselves not separated by much.

If he does come out in 2021, the rest of his season will be crucial. Vrabel is a player that will continue to get better as he plays. His NFL pedigree and ideal size will attract some teams. The NFL values offensive tackles, and Vrabel stock could be looking up.
