1. New York Jets: Trevor Lawrence, QB, Clemson

Another week down, another week of Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence landing in the Big Apple. The Tank for Trevor campaign has gone to plan for the Jets, still winless on the season. Whether or not current quarterback and former third overall pick in 2018 has gotten a fair shake is all but irrelevant at this point as he is likely gone with head coach Adam Gase after the season.

Dating back to 2019, even as a true freshman, Lawrence would have been the first overall pick had he been eligible. Now that he is eligible, the team with the rights to the prized jewel is not going to turn that opportunity down. The Jets have that right, and they do, in fact, take advantage of it here.
