Welcome to a 2020 NFL Re-draft. Get ready for madness.

Is it too early to do a 2020 NFL re-draft when it’s still the same year? Well, regardless of your answer, it’s 2020 so anything goes. While we have not even reached the 2021 NFL Draft and are only at the midway point of the 2020 season, it is time to have some fun.

If you were to go back to any previous drafts and redo them, it would seem quite easy because as they say, hindsight is 20/20. However, when doing a re-draft before the players even have one full season under their belts, things can get tricky.

Yes the draft was only seven months ago, but so much has changed since then. We are over halfway through the 2020 NFL season, the first three quarterbacks taken are dominating, two head coaches and GM’s have been fired (so far), Dez Bryant and Antonio Brown are on active rosters, and much, much more. Granted, a lot more can (and will) change, but if the 2020 NFL Draft were to take place today, this is how it could look.

1. Cincinnati Bengals

Original Pick: Joe Burrow, QB (LSU)

New Pick: Joe Burrow, QB (LSU)

Young Joey Burrow certainly looks the part thus far in his early NFL career. The first overall pick is already living up to his title of “Best quarterback prospect since Andrew Luck”. Even though the roster around him, more specifically offensive line, is seemingly trying to do their best to stunt his progress, Joe is keeping this awful franchise somewhat competitive.

I’m still unsure if this team is going anywhere with Zac Taylor at the helms, but at least they found a quarterback who should be there for a long, long time, and who can undoubtedly get them to the promise land.
