Ossai’s 2021 NFL Draft outlook

As previously mentioned, Ossai has all of the talent in the world to be a first round prospect. He has a ton of ideal suitors, such as the Cleveland Browns, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Las Vegas Raiders, and New York Jets. As NFL teams are always in need of an edge rusher to add to their rotation, pass rushers are becoming a premium position.

Jordan Reid of The Draft Network gives his insight into Ossai:

“Possessing a long and angular frame combined with a wide wingspan helps him stay clean from climbing blockers as a pursuit through first level windows and attacking on the perimeter. With the quickness to match, Ossai is the ideal height/weight/speed player at the position, but his best days may be ahead of him.”

As it currently sits on this writer’s board, Ossai currently sits as the second best pass rusher in this class, behind only Georgia’s dominant weapon Azeez Ojulari. There are still plenty more edge rushers to evaluate, and still plenty of time left in the draft cycle, but Ossai is expected to dominate every step of the way. Starting with the combine, look for Ossai to explode up draft boards.
