Drew Sanders

The final player that could be an option for the Dallas Cowboys in the 2023 NFL Draft is linebacker Drew Sanders out of Arkansas. The Cowboys could be looking to add some youth to the position with Leighton Vander Esch and Anthony Barr set to be free agents this offseason.

After two seasons in Alabama, Drew Sanders transferred to Arkansas and had a breakout season for the Razorbacks. He finished the year with 103 total tackles, 9.5 sacks, and 13.5 tackles for a loss.

The Cowboys already have one of the best pass rushers in the league in Micah Parsons and adding another linebacker with the pass rushing ability Sanders has will put pressure on opposing quarterbacks in passing downs.

He may need some time to develop but should be a starting linebacker sooner rather than later and would be another good key piece to this Cowboys defense.
