Players to Target in 2011

The lockout appears to be coming to a close and the only thing which has potential to be  scrapped could be the Hall of Fame Game between the Rams and Bears.   That’s no big deal, right?   Wrong!    To paraphrase Jack Nicholson in A Few Good Men, “We want them on that field, we need them on that field”.   Sure big names like Steven Jackson, Sam Bradford, Matt Forte and Jay Cutler won’t play more than a series or two, but what about the WR core for the Rams?   With players like Donnie Avery, and Mark Clayton (most likely) returning from injury, they will join Danario Alexander, Danny Amendola, Mardy Gilyard, Laurent Robinson and the two rookies Greg Salas and Austin Pettis.    It can be maddening trying to figure out which player to target.
