Jameis Winston vs Marcus Mariota in the 2015 NFL Draft is a huge choice to make and for a G.M. trying to turn his team around. And in Thursday night’s victory over the Louisville Cardinals, the Florida State Seminoles quarterback showed why it should be him. Of course, Mariota is winning the political battle as a soft-spoken kid that has kept his nose clean throughout is collegiate career.

But if you really take a look inside and out at both of these quarterbacks, Winston is the one you want for your franchise. I do understand that Winston has made some bad decisions off the field but he’s still who you want leading your team. Most of America sees him as the knucklehead that he is but like Floyd Mayweather in the sport of boxing, he’s the best anyway.

Sure, I’d much rather have Mariota as a son-in-law but on the field, Winston continues to show why he’s the best college quarterback prospect. Bringing his team back from 21 down at halftime against the Cardinals showed us again what Winston is all about when challenged. And while he’s building a Doug Flutie-Johnny Manziel type of collegiate legend, he has what translates to the NFL too.
