At 5’9″ 175 pounds, cornerback Senquez Golson is probably the smallest 2015 NFL Draft prospect coming out. The scouting world is going to have their concerns about him but aside from making him beef up, they shouldn’t have concerns about him. That’s because Golson’s game is big enough to where you couldn’t see him behind it if he were a 300-pounder.

He’s also clutch as he put the game on ice for his Ole Miss. Rebels over the Alabama Crimson Tide with an interception. Mercurial receiver Amari Cooper got his with nine catches for 91 yards but at times, Golson Dd him up. The bigges thing about that is Cooper didn’t go off that day as he was kept under his average which is why the Rebels won.

All and all, Golson has wheels, fluid hips and can plant his foot and drive on the ball with the best of them. He’s obviously a small man so I can’t sit here and tell you how physical he is but he gives you what he has. The biggest thing is he doesn’t let you get far away from him and when the ball comes, he’s going after like it was intended for him.

He also has good hands as he is second in the FBS interceptions with nine of them. Most of the scouting world has him in the third round but my grade for him is the second. But if everyone has him there because of his size and ignores his production, I would wait to take him there too.

They’re holding his size against him but there is a place for him with the small, quick receivers.
