In college football today, there really aren’t that many red-shirt sophomores that declare for the NFL Draft. But Minnesota Golden Gophers tight end Maxx Williams is one of those guys that should definitely declare himself this year. He has the ability to really become something special as tight ends are being used more and more in today’s NFL passing game.

Michigan Wolverines receiver Devin Funchess is a big receiver that many scouts are looking at to convert to tight end. But Williams is already a true tight end that should and would probably be the first tight end taken in the 2015 NFL Draft. This kid is everything that and NFL team could possibly want in a tight end and will be an elite tight end soon after he’s drafted.
