The weigh-in of the 2015 NFL Scouting Combine is mainly the tale of the tape between two. Yes when it comes to the quarterback position of the 2015 prospects, it’s all about Marcus Mariota and Jameis Winston. Sure, there were 13 other quarterbacks there but all eyes including those other quarterbacks were on Mariota and Winston.

Your prototypical pocket quarterback is around 6’4″ and about 230 pounds. A big sturdy body is the key to taking the punishment quarterbacks take while standing and delivering from the pocket. Even your mobile quarterbacks need to have some size on them as they will take shots when they run.

Another thing you look at is hand size because that determines your likelihood for turnovers and helps you throw the ball better. There is more to this quarterback class than Mariota and Winston as there are some quarterbacks that even though they aren’t going in the first round, they are worth looking into.

Scroll on down to see how the quarterbacks came out in the weigh-in.
