Despite not looking pro-ready at his pro day, I have Marcus Mariota at No.2 behind Jameis Winston in this version of my NFL Mock Draft 2015. When CBSSports’ Jason La Canfora talks, I listen because it usually comes true. And from what he’s been saying lately, Marcus Mariota is likely to go No. 2 overall via trade or otherwise.

Lacanfora:

"“Some who know Tennessee coach Ken Whisenhunt well figure in the end, barring him being blown out of the water with a trade offer, he goes ahead and drafts the kid [Mariota]. ‘If there are three or four teams trying to trade up for him, then there’s going to be a lot of pressure on Ken to take him if they keep the pick,’ as one source put it.”"

Combine that with the free agency period where teams got to fill some needs and the draft changes. As needs change at the top of the draft, teams suddenly players available they didn’t think would be. And of course, the draft will be affected by the some trades and players getting picked up after cuts.
