In this 2017 NFL Mock Draft, I still have Jonathan Allen at No. 1. But a couple of quarterbacks have risen and it isn’t just because of need.

Here we go with another 2017 NFL Mock Draft!

With the NFL and college regular season now over we have a clear picture of some of what may happen. We have had more time to look at tape and evaluate these prospects. There were some guys that didn’t look good at first that have improved.

As most of you know, I haven’t been a big fan of this quarterback class and I’m still not. But there are a couple of guys that I think much more highly of after seeing more tape on them. There are NFL teams there have fired coaches and have leading candidates to replace them.

There were also head coaches that fired members of their respective staffs too. A draft pick isn’t just about talent, he has to fit whatever type of system your team runs. So of course, the coaching changes affect what type of player those teams want.

Talent level + need + scheme fit = good pick.

So turn the page to see how it all fits now.
