*Underclassmen

Wisconsin DE, *JJ Watt – It is a must for the Patriots to get better up front on defense. They have Vince Wilfork, but outside of him, they have no one else. The old Patriots defense was built around their three down defensive linemen. Since they traded away Richard Seymour to the Oakland Raiders, no one has filled in. JJ Watt is a blue-collar player with an outstanding work ethic. His play and character screams Patriots. Watt has the upper and lower body strength to anchor at the 5-technique, and the explosion and power to rush the passer. He makes the players around him better. Mayo, Guyton, and Spikes will flourish behind Wilfork and Watt.

UCLA OLB, *Akeem Ayers – with the departure of Sean Merriman and Larrry English not looking like he is going to pan out the Chargers are in need of a OLB than can get some pressure on the QB. Mr. Ayers who went to college just a short trip up the freeway should bring ability in a guy who can get after the QB.

Boston College OT, Anthony Castonzo – The Giants offensive line is old. They have been on a steady decline over the past couple of years. They are not protecting Eli like they use to, and their not opening up nearly enough holes for the running game. Castonzo comes from a long list of excellent Boston College linemen. He can add competition and depth to the offensive line, and eventually take over at either left or right tackle.

Iowa DE, Adrian Clayborn – Tampa Bay does not have any glaring weakness’s on either side of the ball, so I have them going best available and taking DE Adrian Clayborn to further improve that young talented defensive line..

Florida O/C Mike Pouncey – Chiefs had a great year and will get even better with this NFL ready O/C whose brother proved to be extremely valuable for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Wisconsin OT, Gabe Carimi – The Colts seen Peyton manning under pressure one to many times this season, and an inability to create running holes up the middle will have them going OT here in Carimi. Carimi was one of the key guys up front that created wholes for one of the nations top running attacks.

TCU OT, Marcus Cannon – Another Tackle of the board here to the Philadelphia Eagles who time after time left Vick or Kolb under constant duress. OT Marcus Cannon will add depth and youth to this often injured offensive line

Oregon St. DT, Stephen Paea – Look out another OT here to the Saints who need could use some beef up front to help out the running game.

Colorado CB, Jimmy Smith – Jimmy Smith proved to be a reliable consistent CB during his time at Colorado, and the Seahawks desperately need assistance in there secondary. Seahawks took Earl Thomas who had a good rookie campaign in 2010, now look for them to get him some CB help and slow down teams passing attacks.

Ohio St. DE, Cameron Heyward – Ravens really had great year but came up short again. Look for the Defense minded team to add some youth and depth in Heyward to an already good defensive line.

Pittsburgh WR, *Jon Baldwin – This Falcons desperately need to add a weapon opposite Roddy white, so they will look to add a WR with ability to make big plays down the field in Mr. Baldwin.

Virginia Tech RB, *Ryan Williams – The backfield of Woodhead and Green-Ellis needs some stud in it with all around running back Ryan Williams. He has a combination of size and speed that the two Patriot Rbs just don’t have.

Baylor DT, Phil Taylor – With Cris Jenkins going down with knee injuries the past 2 season the jets should look to add some youth to an already dominated defense just in case big Jenkins has to call it a career.

Iowa DE, Christian Ballard – Bears Built their team predicated to defense and could look to add some depth and a player to be mentored by Julius Peppers, and make another run with a strong defense next year

LSU DT, Drake Nevis -Another defensive player here with the Packers beefing up that front with Drake Nevis. Not a super sexy pick, but Nevis will help getting after the QB, and helps stopping the run.

USC OT, *Tyron Smith – Everybody can say even though Big Ben has a tendency to hold the Ball extra long a line which currently has Flozell Adams on is definitely in need of a youth movement.
