Cam Newton’s Media-Only Workout (Today 1pm EST)

Here we go. We’re about to officially kick off the offseason workouts. First up, Heisman Award winner and Auburn Quarterback, Cam Newton. Today he will be throwing only for selected members of the media, no coaches or scouts allowed. For those of you who missed our article, “Cam Newton’s Media-Only Workout Inching Closer”, we discussed the fact that the approach Newton is taking is some what unorthodox. Most private workouts are held after the NFL Scouting Combine, and for NFL scouts, not the media. Nonetheless, this should be interesting. We’ll get our first peak at Newton from under center.
