The Saga Continues for Weslye Saunders

A few days ago, we posted a story about the unfortunate turn of events for former South Carolina Tight End, Weslye Saunders. Due to a snafu by his agent, he was ruled ineligible for the 2011 NFL Draft. Yesterday, we learned that the NFL will indeed grant Saunders eligibility. This is good news for Saunders and his camp. Previously, it looked as if he would only make an NFL team via the path of an un-drafted free agent. Now, he has the opportunity to go in the later rounds of the draft. There are character concerns with Saunders, so teams will be weary. Nonetheless, the NFL gave Saunders the best Valentines gift ever.
