NFL Combine: Ben Ijalana Still Rehabbing, Will Not Participate In Drills

Villanova Offensive Tackle, Ben Ijalana is at the NFL Scouting Combine, but he will not participate in on field drills. He is still recovering from a Sports Hernia injury, suffered prior to the Senior Bowl.  He will however meet with teams, partake in interviews, off field tests, and other aspects of the Combine.

Ijalana is considered one of the better Offensive Tackle prospects in this years draft, and is projected to come off of the board in the early second round. Their were questions about his size, but he measured in at 6’3″ 317 pounds, with 36″ arms. It’s disappointing to not have an opportunity to see him perform this weekend, but health is a priority. He plans to be fully healthy and able to participate in Villanova’s Pro-Day in March.
