NFC West Free Agency Outlook
By Editorial Staff
Free agency may start tomorrow, I’ll keep updating with the AFC tomorrow!
Arizona Cardinals [$35m]
(QB, OLB, OT, OG, TE)
Outlook: I wouldn’t get too excited. This team did well avoiding quarterbacks and taking Patrick Peterson. Rogers-Cromartie+Peterson could be the best CB tandem in the league very soon, and if you add in S Adrian Wilson, that is a great secondary. However, the Card’s front 7 is shaky. LDE Calais Campbell is fantastic, and DT Starks is still playing at a high level. But they need one OLB if not two, and a RDE upgrade would help. On offense, this team is a wildcard. I don’t like Kevin Kolb. Andy Ried knows he only has a maximum of three more good years from Vick (and that is a positive outlook), so why would he dump Kolb if he thought he was an answer?
