Week 3: Surprising/Not Surprising

Here is a quick look at what I found surprising and not surprising about Week 3 in the NFL…

Surprising: The Rams looked so bad against the Ravens. Coming into the season, many prognosticators picked the Rams to win the NFC West and most people thought that at the very least they’d be in contention after last year’s 7-9 finish. But not only are they 0-3, they’ve been blown out twice at home including this week’s 37-7 shellacking and look much more like 2009’s 1-15 Rams than last year’s version. Many of the young players have taken a step back and the lack of talent (particularly in the secondary) has been exposed.
