Draft Analysis: Impact of the Carson Palmer Trade

As you are probably aware by now, the Raiders have traded their 2012 first round pick and a 2013 second round pick to the Bengals for Carson Palmer. The 2013 pick also has the ability to become a first round pick if the Raiders reach the AFC title game this season. This is one of the biggest in-season trades we have seen in quite some time, and the price tag reflects that. The Raiders clearly believe they have the recipe for success this year; and Mike Brown is not looking so much stubborn as he is a genius.
