Scouting Report
Harris is the kind of guy that could be a “glue guy” for a defensive line in the NFL. He has a big body and is pretty athletic, but his greatest asset is the amount of effort he puts forth on a play by play basis. He is the kind of disruptive player who doesn’t always show up on the stat sheet, but he will be the kind of guy that a quarterback or running back watches on film, and they take note. He has a tendency to get fatigued as the game goes on, so he will need to be part of a rotation early on in his career to get acclimated to the NFL game. He has good quickness off the ball but isn’t a great pass rusher, though he can get in the backfield at times and make plays. Long arms and a good frame help him disengage relatively quickly
to be able to disrupt the play in the backfield. Very solid ability to anchor the line especially against the run, but will play high at times. Has had academic issues at USC, and was diagnosed with sleep apnea which can cause daytime fatigue.
