2013 NFL Draft Prospect of the Day Norte Dame LB Manti Te’o

Today’s prospect to look out for is Norte Dame linebacker Manti Te’o. Te’o was our number one inside linebacker for the 2012 N.F.L. draft and will remain that heading into the 2012 College Football Season. Manti Te’o is a terrific athlete who does a lot of things well. He is big for a linebacker and runs really well also. Te’o could improve on his technique, but he already covers like a N.F.L. linebacker. Te’o also pales in comparison to Kuechly’s instincts and this will be his biggest challenge at the N.F.L, but if he learns to study film like the best linebackers in the game he has all the ability in the world to become a perennial Pro Bowl type linebacker. Te’o is reminiscent of New England Patriots LB Jerod Mayo who could line up and play effectively in a variety of fronts.
