2012 NFL Draft Prospect of the Day: Oregon Ducks RB LaMichael James

LaMichael James has one of the largest draft ranges on big boards of all 2012 N.F.L. draft prospects. Draftniks want to highlight his inability to be an every-down back, some believe James is nothing more than a day three flier pick, others have him projected as a late first round pick. I fall somewhere in between, he’s a top five running back prospect to me even though he is not an every-down back, neither are players like C.J. Spiller and Jahvid Best two speedy who went in the first round recently.  In today’s N.F.L. big plays reign supreme and perhaps no other player in the draft can provide the big play ability James can in a variety of different ways.
