Green Bay Packers WR Donald Driver is the latest NFL player to join dancing with the stars according to the Duluth News Tribune. Driver is approaching the twilight of his career and this shouldn’t distract him from preparing for his NFL duties, in fact perhaps it will even help him. Dancing is a very strenuous physical activity.
The four-time Pro Bowl receiver will be part of a celebrity lineup that includes “Melrose Place” actor Jack Wagner, “Little House on the Prairie” actress Melissa Gilbert, tennis legend Martina Navratilova and Motown great Gladys Knight.
Other celebrities on the show include “Family Matters” actor Jaleel White (who played Steve Urkel on that show), “The View” co-host Sherri Shepherd, singer-songwriter Gavin DeGraw, Disney Channel star Roshon Fegan, telenovela star William Levy, operatic singer Katherine Jenkins and “Extra” co-host Maria Menounos.
The case was announced earlier today on “Good Morning America”. Driver is the latest WR to do Dancing with the Stars also done by Steelers Hines Ward, and former 49ers WR Jerry Rice.
