Overall Game

Dorsett’s timed speed is showing on the field too as he leaves corners behind to average over 30 yards per catch this season. Even if he doesn’t break the record, to average anything over 25 yards per catch in college is way out of the ordinary. A receiver averaging 20 yards per catch is going to garner all kinds of attention from NFL scouts and G.M.s.

To go with that speed and improved hands, Dorsett has shown that there’s even more to his game these days. So there’s no there’s no need to worry about him being a one-trick-pony who’s speed is all that you need to worry about. University of Miami head coach Al Golden spoke glowing of Dorsett’s work ethic, leadership and improvement.

"From the Miami Herald’s Susan Miller-Degnan: “He’s gone from talented to skilled route runner, skilled with the ball in his hands and after the catch. His leadership has been awesome. He won the offseason program and dominated the summer. He’s a strong positive presence.”"
