Bottom Line
No doubt, Dorsett had some problems catching the ball early in his collegiate career but he has more than improve it. He is now able to go up and get jump-ball, run great routes and take one to the house after the catch. Then on top of all that, he’s even faster than he was before he injured his knee in 2013.
But instead of taking notice, the personnel people have him projected to go in the fourth round at best. If he were 6’4″, this kid would be projected to go in the first round but the past hold you down when they don’t like your size. He looks like a 2nd-rounder to me so if he stays project to the fourth round and is actually drafted there, Dorsett is a good value pick.
He could very well be the steal of the draft too.
