Once one of the best organizations in professional sports, the Oakland Raiders are now looked upon as the worst. But this year, despite being 0-8 at the halfway mark of the season, there is a silver lining in the dark cloud over the Raiders. And while loosing eight games and winning none this season, the one thing you can say they won was the 2014 draft.
This could be the best draft the Raiders ever had as there were five starters that came from their 2014 draft. Yes, it’s easier to start on a horrible team but the starters the Raiders have now are actually playing very well. They were all on display for us all to see as all of them played well again on Sunday.
Like Al Davis used to say, “The greatness of the Raidahs is in the future.”
Well, it sure ain’t in the present but there are some building blocks there.
