Not Too Big For Carr

When the coaching staff  says that it isn’t too big for Carr, they really mean it because nothing is. The pressure of starting as a rookie, the pressure from the opposing team’s defensive line, nothing. Being down 24-3 after having a horrible first half where he threw two interception isn’t even too big.

The youngster pulled up his britches and threw two 2nd-half touchdown passes and was an onside kick away from a chance to win. Guys like Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees have gone to Seattle and melted down in that loud stadium. Carr was poised enough to have not even wasted one timeout due to the crowd noise by Seattle’s 12th man.

The way he fought back from his bad first half in a hostile environment tells me he is a franchise quarterback.
