Route Running

Strong is a long strider and isn’t quick, explosive or sudden enough to be considered a great route runner. White is a long strider too but has just a little more suddeness to him than Strong has. Montgomery is the best at changing directions and accelerating but I have to give this one to Cooper.

That’s because Cooper is required to run more pro style routes that take more savvy, technique and precision. Montgomery comes from a pro style offense too but he’s usually asked to run go-routes or catch bubble screens. From watching some tape on Cooper, you can tell he sets guys up as that’s something Montgomery has the ability to do but has to learn.
