Deep Threat

Cooper and White can run but Montgomery looks a little faster on tape so I give him the edge in deep speed. Strong is a deep threat because of his height alone and Cooper also gets open deep with double-moves. All four of them have the ability to track down the deep ball but I have it a dead heat between Montgomery and Cooper for best deep threat.

Montgomery is only averaging 10 yards per catch this year but that’s because of all the bubble screens. And again, when your quarterback isn’t very accurate, you don’t get to catch many balls down field. This category right here is the main reason why Montgomery’s skill-set is no where near on par with his production this year.
