Pick No. 1: Leonard Williams (Oakland Raiders)

With the first pick in the NFL Draft, the Oakland Raiders will select Leonard Williams from the USC Trojans for two big reasons. First off, Williams is the best football player on the board and he is sure to be a star while the Raiders need stars. Number two, the Raiders only have eight sacks this season so the Raiders are in desperate need of another pass rusher.

Khalil Mack, the 2014 1st-round pick, is getting double and triple-teamed and quarterbacks step up in the pocket to avoid him when he gets around the edge.  Even Lawrence Taylor had Leonard Marshall creating a rush inside so opposing teams couldn’t game plan around him like that. Williams looks like the next Richard Seymour so he will take double teams away from Mack and give the quarterback no where to step up.
