Pick No. 5 Randy Gregory (Atlanta Falcons)

With the fifth pick in the NFL Draft, the Atlanta Falcons select Randy Gregory from the Nebraska Cornhuskers. You have to love it when the best football player available happens to be a position you need when it’s your turn to pick. The Falcons have only seven sacks this season and they really don’t even get close very often.

The DE/OLB could come of the edge and raise some H-E double hockey sticks on opposing quarterbacks trying to pass. The Falcons have an explosive offense but their No. 30 ranked pass defense makes opposing offenses more explosive. Gregory can come in and and cut that rating in have with his pass rush alone so the Falcons would be in good shape with this pick .
