Pick No. 12: Andrus Peat: (Stanford)
With the 12th pick in the NFL draft, the Minnesota Vikings select left tackle Andrews Peat from the Stanford Cardinal. I have Cedric Ogbuehi going first because he looks better right now but the 6’7″, 315 pound Peat has the most upside of any left tackle prospect in the 2015 NFL Draft. His length and athleticism should be too much to pass up for the Vikings at No. 12 who seem to have everything but a left tackle these days.
They just drafted quarterback Teddy Bridgewater to throw to the likes of Cordarrelle Paterson and Greg Jennings. Then of course, you have the mercurial Adrian Peterson coming back at least by next year with a Top-10 defense from this year. If Peat pans out, the Vikings could instantly become NFC North if not NFC contenders year in and year out.
