Pick No. 14: Kevin White (West Virginia)
With the 14th pick in the NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns select Kevin White from the West Virginia Mountaineers. This pick is the first of two in the first round as the obtained this one from the Buffalo Bills in a trade. Sure, the Browns need to address stopping the run this coming offseason but, quarterback Brian Hoyer can use another weapon on the other side of Josh Gordon next year.
He’s also the best available player as opposing teams wouldn’t have time to run much against such an explosive offense anyway. With Gordon’s speed, White’s ability to high-point the ball and Hoyer’s arm, the vertical game will be alive and well in Cleveland. They’ll have an opportunity to address the defense not to far from this pick in the draft anyway.
