Bottom Line

There goes pick 11-15 as there were still plenty of players that can make a difference on a football team. Some of those teams are on the borderline of becoming playoff teams so the right player is the key. There is actually some Top-10 talent that has a chance to be selected in picks 11-15 so an average-to-below-average team could end up pretty good with one of them.

But it’s a razor thin line between picking to fit needs on your team and taking the best available player at the time. If I were a general manager, I would prefer the latter but the temptation to fill a need can sometimes be too much. Plus the difference between player A and player B isn’t the biggest the further you go down in the draft.

Picks 16-20 are next!
