Danny Shelton (Washington)
With the 19th pick in the NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles select Danny Shelton from the Washington Huskies. I have the Eagles picking this low because I don’t believe in quarterback Mark Sanchez to play the way he did in his first start. Plus they’re a little light in the behind on defense, which will make them go out and get a big nose tackle like Shelton.
The New York Giants, Washington Redskins and especially the Dallas Cowboys like to run the ball so Shelton in needed. They can’t handle big, physical teams like the San Francisco 49ers and the have two games to play against the Cowboys. They also have to go to Washington and to Green Bay for the Packers so I’m convinced that they’re going to be knocked out of the playoffs.
