P.J. Williams (Florida State)

With the 24th pick in the NFL Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers select cornerback P.J. Williams from the Florida State Seminoles. The Steelers’ front seven hasn’t looked too bad this year and defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau usually keeps it that way. But LeBeau can only dial up so much up front to keep the Steelers secondary from being exposed.

And it just so happens that Williams will be the best player on the board when it’s the Steelers turn to pick in the first round. Roethlisberger is balling out of his mind these days with Antonio Brown to throw to and Le’Veon Bell to hand off to. So a stout defense would get them right back into the Super Bowl discussion and Williams would be a big step toward just that.
