Ifo Ekpre-Olomu

With the 29th pick in the NFL Draft, the Detriot Lions select cornerback  Ifo Ekpre-Olomu from the Oregon Ducks. With receiver Calvin Johnson and Reggie Bush getting healthy, quarterback Mathew Stafford will lead the Lions deep into the playoffs this year. Then on defense, the Lions have a murderous front seven but can be taken in the secondary if the opposing offense gets enough time to throw.

Being had in the secondary will be their undoing by a team with an offensive line that can hold off the Lions’ defensive line. So picking Ekpre-Olomu could get the Lions to the Super Bowl as that weakness would be strengthened for next year. The Lions do need to do what they can to keep Ndamukong Suh and Nick Fairly on their defensive front though.
