Bottom Line

Gordon is decent in pass protection and most rookie running backs need to work on that when the get to the NFL anyway. As far as his hands go, he rarely gets a chance to catch the ball so that remains a big unknown at this time. But if you want a great pure runner that can make things happen when you put the ball in his hands, he’s your guy.

He isn’t the fastest but he’s fast enough and can freak it with whatever move he pulls out on a defender at the time. Despite that, Gordon is more than willing to hit it up in there in goal line and short yardage situations. So while it isn’t known if he’s a complete back yet, he is a complete runner so any NFL team that needs a running back should grab him.

I’m sure he’s climbing up draft boards as we speak.
