Going into the 2014 NFL Draft, many debated over Jadeveon Clowney and Khalil Mack being the best football player available. And to this point, it looks like the Houston Texans made a huge mistake in thinking Clowney is better than Mack. Mack is making as big an impact as he can under the circumstances that he is playing under this year for his no-win team.
Meanwhile Clowney is unwilling to play with any kind of discomfort or even so much as a common cold. So in my eyes, Mack widened the gap between two even without sacking a quarterback during the time that Clowney was out. Now, Clowney is back and the gap is getting even wider as he plays against teams that played against Mack already.
