Now that Clowney is healthy and playing again, can start looking at both players head-to-head and start with Week, 11. On the day, Clowney managed two tackles with one for a loss and didn’t pressure the quarterback very much. On pass plays, Thomas had Clowney hemmed up and didn’t have problems with him so Clowney’s impact was minimal.

Mack had five tackles with four being solo and another two tackles for a loss while pressuring the quarterback all day. But this time he was rewarded for all of his efforts with the first sack of his NFL career on a play that wasn’t his best pass rush. He actually took the game over but too late as the Chargers scored a touchdown off of a turnover seconds into the game.

But helping your team hold the Chargers’ high-powered offense to 13 points is impressive.
