Phillip Dorsett

Phillip Dorsett is thanking God because he made himself some money on the big stage last Saturday night. He made some big plays as he finished the night with only three catches but for 80 yards that included a 27-yard touchdown catch. It didn’t matter if projected 2nd-round Ronald Darby or projected 1st-round corner P.J.Williams covered him because he could get open on both of them.

Dorsett can shake you with his route running and if you blink, he’ll get 10 yards ahead of you when you try to cover him. But the thing he showed last Saturday was that he can go up and get the ball over the middle and in traffic. He’s going to run somewhere in the 4.2s at the combine if he’s healthy so as he projected into the fourth round now but he could sneak into the third round if he continues to catch the ball.

If Al Davis were still alive, he would go No. 1 overall to the Raiders. (lol!)
