Sacks, Pressures, Hits and Hurries
The Raiders are guaranteed to have to face quarterbacks like Peyton Manning and Philip Rivers for four games a year. These are some great quarterbacks but just like any red-blooded quarterback , getting to him will make him less effective. And with Mack and Moore coming from the outside, all the Raiders would need is some pressure right in his face.
They would no longer be able to simply step up in the pocket when Mack and-or Moore come around the corners. If they do step up, that’s going to be a sack for Williams and if they don’t, Mack or Moore end up with the sack. There will be no where to go so when opposing quarterbacks aren’t getting sacks, they’re getting hit, hurried and pressured into incompletions and interceptions.
