Quarterback Sacks and Pressures

The Jaguars defense is ranked No. 26 against the pass and the fastest way to affect that rating is to put pressure on the quarterback. Their secondary is suspect as they’re No. 7 in the NFL in sacks so their already pretty good rushing the passer. But the Jaguars need a supreme pass rush in order to will keep their secondary from getting exposed to opposing passing attacks.

This is huge for the Jaguars as they will have to do something to affect Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck. Ryan Mallett will make the Houston Texans a force and  Zach Mettenberger looks like he may become something. So the Jaguars are going to have to do something to affect the quarterbacks they’ll be playing in the coming years.
